Prof. Duncan Bentley, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Swinburne University of Technology?(Swinburne) and Dr. Bill Damachis, Dean of Swinburne Transnational Education & Alliances visited GTIIT on Oct.15, 2019.
Prof. Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT, Dr. Liao Xuequan, Director of GTIIT Student Affairs and Mr. Zeng Rui, Director of Shantou University International Office had a meeting with the guests and showed them around the university.
Prof. Lin extended a warm welcome to Prof. Bentley and introduced GTIIT, including the university's history, discipline development and teaching methods.?He pointed out that the two sides can jointly carry out academic exchanges for common development.
Prof. Bentley spoke highly of GTIIT's rapid development since its formal?establishment in 2016. He expressed that Swinburne attaches great importance to innovation and he looked forward to?future collaboration through?seminars and exchange programs.
