An excellent ideological and political education lecture: GTIIT's Mission?to?the?Greater Bay Area, was delivered by Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT, Prof. Lin?Danming on?April 3.
The development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (the GBA) and a world-class city cluster is a national strategy?planned and deployed?by General Secretary Xi Jinping.
PVC Lin's speech started with the introduction of three major bay areas in the world, namely New York Bay Area, San Francisco Bay Area, Tokyo Bay Area. He talked about how the GBA can contribute to China's long-term prosperity and development through a series of data and "diamond model" theory.
PVC Lin pointed out that the developments of the GBA provide new opportunities for GTIIT. GTIIT has taken forward overall plan and scientific layout, aiming at promoting the development of the GBA. GTIIT's teaching model provides sufficient opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship. GTIIT faculty members encourage students to ask questions and challenge authority, which is very beneficial to cultivate their problem-solving ability. He encouraged students to seize the opportunity and make full use of resources to contribute to the development of the GBA.
