Aiming at bringing a more green life, Mr. Yigal Cohen, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Director General, and Prof. Lin Danming, Vice Chancellor, together with GTIIT staff, faculty and students planted trees on Mar.12, the Arbor Day in China.

"We need more green in our life. I believe that planting trees can help us actually get it," said Sigal Hirsch, an international student from Israel.
"We have the same holiday in Israel, this year it happened 3 weeks ago. On that day, children usually go outside and plant trees. This is a great chance for us to participate here. It makes us feel at home." Yigal Cohen said that this year is a start. "We plant our first tree in China in the north campus. Next year, we hope to plant a forest in the south campus."
Kids from GTIIT also participated in tree-planting to make a more green life.
