A few days ago, an entertainment party with Chinese characteristics was held to welcome the guests from American Technion Society.
Professor Peretz Lavie, President of Technion and Mr. Yigal Cohen, PVC and Director General of GTIIT attended the party.
As dusk fell at GTIIT, guests and GTIITers started trickling in, and anxious for enjoying the wonderful performance. The party began with the performance of Chinese musical instrument trio.?All the lyrical melody and rough rhythm made up the image of? Li nationality.?As a traditional Chinese musical instrument lover, Lin Zhijin played his favorite foreign band's song?"Viva La Vida"?with Erhu?creatively, and won a round of applause. A traditional tea?ceremony, which was?performed by?Zhang Hongrui, showed the?meaning?of?tea?culture and art. Chinese Calligraphy was also displayed to express GTIIT's expectation of attracting top talents, sharing meaningful ideas and better serving the society. A classical Gu Zheng piece "Fighting with Typhoon", performed by Dong Jingyi, let everyone intoxicate.
Many other excellent performances, such as Pipa Solo, Violin Solo, Guitar Solo, Dulcimer Erhu Ensemble, were also displayed on the evening, which made the audience actually spent an unforgettable night!
