Hosted by the Chinese Sleep Research Society(CSRS), Shantou University Medical College(SUMC), Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and Shantou University Mental Health Center(SUMHC), supported by Sleep Medicine Center of Shantou University Medical College and Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, the East West Alliance in Sleep Medicine and 1st?China-Israel International Sleep Medicine Symposium has been held at GTIIT and Shantou University(STU) from Nov. 8th to 10th, 2018.
Prof. Peretz Lavie, President of Technion; Mr. Lin Yimin, Vice Mayor of Shantou; Prof. Han Fang, Chairman of CSRS; Dr. Luo Minjie, Consultant of Li Ka Shing Foundation; Prof. Huang Qingjun, Director of SUMHC; and Prof. Lin Danming, PVC of GTIIT attended the event. Prof. Bian Junhui, Executive Dean of STU Medical College was the master of the symposium.



During the 3-day event, more than 30 experts and scholars from prestigious universities and medical institutions gathered together to share about the cutting-edge academic achievements and opinions through keynote report, sleeping professional technical training, scientific research and writing workshop, case presentations, and young investigator oral presentations.

Experts and scholars from all over the world, such as America, Germany, France, Greece, Israel and?Australia,?as well as students from various European countries attended the symposium. The successful holding of this event not only provides a good opportunity for enhanced exchanges and learning among participants, but also promotes the development of sleep medicine in clinical diagnosis and treatment technology, and scientific research in eastern Guangdong.
