GTIIT, cooperating with the Fourth Branch of Jinping Fire Brigade, held a fire drill on last Friday noon.

Scenario Simulation: Fire broke out at the west wing of the second floor in Dorm A. Students were evacuated quickly and orderly to the spacious basketball court. As planned, 119 Command Center ordered the Fourth Branch of Jinping Fire Brigade to send foam tankers, high pressure water trucks and 15 firefighters to the spot. The firefighters, who were divided into three groups, respectively showed students on how to control the fire with ladders and water cannons, lay out water hoses and rescue trapped victims.

At the end of the fire drill, firefighters demonstrated the most-frequent-used fire-fighting equipment, including portable dry powder fire extinguishers, emergence escape masks and oxygen masks, after which, students were invited to try on them.

BTW, every floor in GTIIT is equipped with fire apparatus & emergency equipment.
