On the occasion of the 30th World Tuberculosis (TB) Day, Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) organized a science popularization campaign to dispel misconceptions about TB, promote the principle of "early detection, diagnosis, and treatment", and strengthen the campus health defense system.

Amid the vibrant spring atmosphere, clinic staff distributed TB prevention brochures at the canteen entrance alongside eye-catching infographic displays, actively raising the awareness of TB.
Interactive zones were also set, attracting students’ engagement in TB-related online quizzes, knowledge puzzles, and card-matching games in an edutainment-style setting.

Experts from Shantou Institute of Tuberculosis Control and Prevention were invited to provide professional guidance. They elaborated on TB transmission routes, early symptom recognition, and preventive measures, emphasizing collective environment protection and encouraging students to adopt better hygiene habits and healthy lifestyles.

This event improved the awareness of TB prevention and self-protection on campus. GTIIT will continue deepening health education and refining its campus infectious disease control system, contributing to a TB-free campus and healthier society.
