From December 21 to 23, the annual academic exchange conference "New Generation Computing Methods and Software for Functional Applications of Materials" organized by Fudan University, Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Nanjing University was held in Nan'ao, Shantou. The conference aims to facilitate effective cooperation in multiple fields through high-level academic exchanges.
Prof. Gong Xingao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chancellor of Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) warmly welcomed the experts and scholars. He hoped they could take advantage of the opportunity to fully communicate and provide intellectual support for the industry.
Nearly 20 experts and scholars from Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fudan University, Nanjing University, etc. gathered together. Surrounding the conference theme, they gave academic reports, shared the cutting-edge scientific research views, and carried out heated discussions to promote idea exchange in various directions. Many professors fully affirmed the professional contents of the conference, and mentioned it was highly helpful to their following research perspective and innovation.
As the conference came to an end, the participants discussed the research plans for next year. Recommendations of project development and constructive solutions to problems that may be encountered were proposed.
