Lin Xiaoyong, Vice Mayor of Shantou, led a delegation to conduct a field research in STU and GTIIT and hold a panel discussion in the afternoon of March 15th. The aim is to tap full potential from the establishment of Guangdong Provincial Laboratory in Shantou and fuel win-win development of industries and academies.
Lin Xiaoyong inspected GTIIT research building and listened to the report on the establishment of research teams and construction of the building. Lin said, Shantou Party Committee and Shantou Government would take the development of STU and GTIIT seriously as they always do. Hopefully, STU and GTIIT could pool resources and take this opportunity to build the laboratories of multi-centers and multi-fields which benefit the current industries while blaze grounds for future industries. Lin added, STU and GTIIT shall fully tap their talents resources while introduce first-tier talents and scientific teams that conduct leading research programs both internationally and nationally in Shantou.
