Another important event organized during the “Series Activities of Sino-Israel Education and Technology Cooperation” is the 2017 STU-Technion Biomedical and Ocean Symposiums.
Yesterday, the opening ceremony of the 2017 STU-Technion Biomedical and Ocean Symposiums was held in the GTIIT lecture hall. Technion President Peretz Lavie, STU President Jiang Hong and Vice-president Lin Danming attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Experts from China and Israel, post-graduate students from STU also joined the ceremony. GTIIT Pro-Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Eliezer Shalev hosted the ceremony.

In two days, invited experts have an in-depth discussion on hot issues, key projects and the latest researching results on biomedical and ocean science.

The symposiums aim to provide an exchanging platform for Technion, GTIIT and STU on issues concerning common researches about biomedical and ocean science, as a way to strengthen the cooperation among the parties and lay solid foundation for further collaboration.
