The 8th Council Meeting of Cooperative University Union was held at Duke Kunshan University on August 12. Participants from all over the country had an in-depth exchange of ideas and discussions on the development of cooperative education in the new era, with the theme of "Focusing on strengthening education, exploring the integration of education, technology and talents by cooperative universities".
It has been nine years since the Union was established in 2014. The regular meetings aim to enhance the exchange and communication among Union members, build up communication capacity, and thus promote the sound development of cooperative education and the development and reform of higher education in China.
Mr. Jinsong Wu, Level 2 Inspector of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges (Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs), MOE addressed the meeting
Representatives from ten cooperative universities in China shared their experience and exchanged thoughts through reports and seminars.
Prof. Xingao Gong, Chancellor of GTIIT gave an address
Prof. Danming Lin, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT delivered a speech titled "Study STEM in an unlimited way".
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Queena Yi, Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT took the union flag from the representative of Duke Kunshan University. GTIIT has officially become the organizer of the 9th Council Meeting of Cooperative University Union. Prof. Xingao Gong, Chancellor of GTIIT extended an invitation to all the union members and expected the gathering at GTIIT in 2024.
