On November 6-7, the 2021 “FLTRP·ETIC Cup” Uchallenge English Contests (Guangdong Province) was held in Shaoguan University. Five students from Guangdong-Israel Technion Institute of Technology (GTIIT) achieved excellent performance. Li Peixuan (20MSC) and Liang Junyi (21ME) won the third prize in the English Writing Contest; Wang Mingwei (19 MSE) and Lin Ziyang (18CE) got the third place in the English Reading Contest; Zhao Chenhao (20CE) won the third prize in the English Public Speaking Contest.

Hosted by the Ministry of Education of Guangdong Province and co-organized by the Advisory Board for College Foreign Language Teaching and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, the Contest is the hightest-level English competition for college students in Guangdong Province, which attracted over 600 contestants from 66 schools this year.
