The 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) was released today, which shows the world's 1,000 leading research universities. The Technion-Israel Institute of Technology ranked 94th. This is the ninth time that the Technion has entered the ARWU Top 100 list in the past ten years.
About ARWU
The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) is one of the most influential and authoritative university rankings in the world and has been widely reported and quoted. Governments and universities have adopted ARWU as the standard to formulate strategic goals and development plans for enhancing international competitiveness of the universities.
About GTIIT
Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) is the China campus of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. The academic management team and faculty of GTIIT are selected and appointed by the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Graduates of GTIIT are awarded degrees from both the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute.
