This year, the first cohort students will graduate from Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Today, Nan Fang Daily published a report with the title of 70% of the graduates have been admitted to world-renowned universities, focused on the future of the first cohort students.
Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology is the first Sino-foreign cooperative university with independent legal personality to interduce high-quality higher education resources from Israel. It is also the only Sino-foreign cooperative university about science and engineering in China. Its unique academic tradition and curriculum system has attracted much attention from public. The first cohort students grow up with GTIIT, work hard together and make a better future both for students and GTIIT.
The report pointed out that 70% of GTIIT’s graduates have received offers from world-renowned universities. Among these universities, 10% of them are top 10, more than 55% of them are top 50 and more than 80% of these universities are top 100. The graduates are satisfied with GTIIT’s curriculum system, academic background, scientific research opportunities and other related hard and soft facilities.
The public is deeply impressed by GTIIT’s orientation and vision in cultivating talents. Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Academic Degree Committee approved GTIIT as a bachelor’s degree-granting unit. In the future, GTIIT will follow the academic tradition of Technion, establish the interdisciplinary research center and continue to promote development for Shantou’s education and technological innovation.
