On the night of April 27, GTIIT (Prep.) Chancellor Li Jiange met with Deputy Vice Chancellor Aaron Ciechanover in Beijing. Professor Ciechanover passed on the greetings from Technion Chancellor Lavie and presented souvenirs to Li as gratitude. Two chancellors both conveyed their value on the preparation work of GTIIT construction, emphasizing that "formal establishment" should be endeavored to be approved this year. Both parties believed that with sincere cooperation and hard work, GTIIT will become a top international research university.
