The GTIIT Industry-University-Research Collaboration Signing Ceremony was held on November 3, marking a new chapter for all-round and in-depth cooperation.

Prof. Eliezer Shalev, Vice Chancellor of GTIIT congratulated the cooperation between university and enterprises via zoom. "GTIIT has qualified teachers and strong scientific force and is committed to investigation and innovation. We hope to take today's event as an opportunity to strengthen exchanges with industries, promote industry-university-research collaboration, and make better contributions to local economies."?

Prof. Daniel Tan from Materials Science and Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Yacine Hemar from Biotechnology and Food Engineering, Assist. Prof. Kong Bo from Chemical Engineering, and representatives from Xiamen Faratronics Co., Ltd., Guangdong Guanghua Sci-Tech Co., Ltd., Shantou HappyFood Co., Ltd., and Chaozhou Huafeng Group Co., Ltd., completed the signing in the ceremony.
"Prof. Daniel has extensive scientific research achievements in the field of film capacitors and possesses rich technology transformation experience in transformation of achievements," said Luo Ronghai, representative of Faratronics Company. "We look forward to further enhance our professional R&D and manufacturing capabilities through scientific and technological cooperation."
"We will jointly apply for a new R&D institution," said Gao Guozheng, representative of Chaozhou Huafeng Group. "We look forward to carrying out in-depth development including cultivation, incubation and transformation of high-tech achievements through the combination of the advantageous resources of both universities and enterprises."

"Today marks the first contracts signed together with various format of sponsored research collaborations. Scientific research and industrial development are two tasks that should be grasp as an organic unity," Lin Danming, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GTIIT said. He added that we should take today's event as a new start point and advance the landing of scientific research achievements in the future.
